Natural Horse Keeping

Keeping Horses as Naturally as their nature demands, and is possible in Australia, is quite a challenge!
Horse-lovers are indoctrinated to house and care for horses in ways that are detrimental to their well-being, for human convenience based upon out-dated life-styles.
When Jayne Lavender passionately pursued the understanding of horses, her studies took her worldwide, to the wild, and covered many years of experimenting with horse-keeping for their greatest benefit, right here in Western Australia!
After nearly 20 years doing more "Naturally" Jayne has much to share about preserving soil, growing pasture, feeding horses, caring for horses, their hooves, their physical, emotional and mental wellbeing!
If you are open to keeping your horse more naturally, are an enthusiastic land-owner, are drawn to country-style properties or are considering starting fresh - a tree-change, you will enjoy our informative afternoon! We have guest speakers, such as Pania Harris of Feel Good Hooves, special offers to assist you with your animal husbandry and nature-care, educational opportunities and delightful cruelty-free Afternoon Tea!

Relationship Review

What does your horse think of you?
What do you think of your relationship, your experiences, both positive and, *cough-cough* "contrasting" this past few months?
We offer this session to small groups of horsemen each quarter, to review and expand your experiences beyond your expectations.
Take a look at a recent Relationship Review Event, December 2012, for our glowing and heartfelt feedback.

HORSE-PLAY-DATE!

Every few months we love to invite our co-creators to play at Heartland with their horses, or our herd.
These events are an opportunity to use our toys, experience our guidance while practicing all you have learned from Jayne and your equine teacher!

Retreat- Overnight Heartland Experience

Take time to overnight with your horse, the way you did when you were a child, at Heartland.
We offer an afternoon of Horsemanship with your herd and ours, an evening of fresh food, great discussions about Horsemanship, and the pleasure of the company of those with whom you resonate.
The following morning we will start early with some gentle stretching for people and horses, and turn our engagement with the herd to an active meditation, for the happiness of you both, as we play with horses, but challenge ourselves.
